Emma Kehoe is a life coach and mindfulness teacher based in Dublin. Her journey transitioning into working in self development is only over the last two years. Emma worked as a fashion buyer and in the retail industry the last 16 years since she was 19 when she graduated from Art & Design College. The first time Emma tapped into her self-development journey was when she went to see a kinesiologist after coming home from living in Australia for 2 years, she wanted more answers and to uncover more of herself. After a few years of this she went back to college and studied to be a Life coach in Neuroscience which was side job and now is her career.

Emma always enjoys helping people and giving back and coaching people gave her something to focus on through the pandemic via zoom and while she was going through a hard time mentally. From this she wanted to uncover more about herself and live more in the moment as her thoughts where either in the past or the future she wanted to learn to be more present. After reading Danielle Moyles book and she was so inspired by her story, she came across Alison Canavan who was an Irish mindfulness teacher. Straight away Emma was intrigued and signed up to another course to be a Mindfulness Teacher in Positive psychology and meditation.

‘I only realised through this work that all those years I was addicted to stress and running away with my physical body not connecting to my mind’ – Emma says . Emma has opened up about the importance on mental health on her podcast ‘Empower with Emma ‘and has some great guests such as Mark Fennell and Denise Kenny Byrne. She also gave her first class recently with focused on breath work, meditation, journalling and a gratitude practise and is going on to coordinate a retreat in Italy with Wellness Jen and Lough Rynn castle in Carlow this October. Emma is so excited for her new career journey as self-development is never ending journey and you can discover so much about yourself.

“Take care of your mind, your body will thank you, take care of your body, your mind will thank you’’ – Debbie Hampton
